How Kyle works

Human connection is such a pure thing to witness. Saying I do and committing yourself to someone forever is such a scary but thrilling concept.

Weddings are supposed to be fun. Capturing them is even more fun. There aren’t any rules, grades or tests. Just two folks saying I love you.
Posing and “looks” come secondary to enjoying being in the moment with your spouse.

I’ve found that encouraging couples to act like they normally would leads to more natural smiles, goofy expressions, that butterflies in the stomach feeling and photos you can look back and relive those moments over and over again.

I shoot with a mixture of flash to get that perfect look and natural light so I can be as unobtrusive as possible. Warm tones evoke feelings of fullness and richness. They compliment the story I try to tell. They make you stop and think. That’s what I’m going for.

About Kyle

Hey there folks! My name is Kyle-Anthony but you can just call me Kyle. I’m jazzed that you decided to stop by to get to know me a bit. My wife Angela and I were middle school sweet hearts without even knowing it! We met at a pool party the small group our mothers attended threw at the end of a summer. I was 12 she was 11. It was utterly unromantic. I didn’t want to talk to anyone, she wanted to make friends. We eventually added each other on MySpace and the rest was awkward instant messages, coffee hangs and an eventual cross state road trip that lead to a life defining DTR. She’s the most influential person in my life right now. It’s because of her that I know my enneagram number (it’s 9 by the way), I eat mushrooms (on occasion) and no longer keep all my important documents in the box my Yeezys came in. We got married October of 2019 and have been living in the Atlanta area since. We’re proud plant parents, specifically of our lime tree Pruno Nash and his fiddle leaf fig buddy Ferguson.

I’ve been shooting for about 5 years in various disciplines. Street photography, weddings, corporate events you name it! Photography is a funny thing because it teaches you so much about yourself without you even realizing it. Photography has this way of speaking to people individually and on a personal level. It connects everyone intrinsically. Photography has taught me to appreciate moments, in my life and the moments around my life. I’ve used that lesson to to remind myself to be present where my feet are.
That looks different everyday. Some days it looks like board game nights, experimenting with my home bar (if you’re a whiskey lover we have a lot to talk about), hiking trails and casual strolls on my bike, or long board if I’m feeling frisky. It looks like week night cooking dates with my wife and sci-fi novels before bed. It looks like not taking myself to seriously, allowing the natural goofiness to shine through. Like vacuuming once a week so I can appreciate the nice vacuum lines in the carpet. Like hanging photos are my art work at home to remind myself to stop appreciate those moments.

Let’s play the get to know you game!
Answer yes or no to the following questions.

I had my first salad on my 18th birthday. It was mostly steak, I’m not sure it counts.

I’ve never broken a bone (knock on wood).

My wife and I met when we were 13 and 12. It was not love at first sight.

Whiskey neat is my go to drink. Currently favoring the Nikka Coffey Grain.

I love gardening! One of my goals for 2020 is have a meal completely from my home garden.

Did we have any of these in common?

If so let’s be friends!

No?

Let’s be friends anyway!
